Samples were collected in the cities of:

The majority of my specimens were collected from Wildwood Park in Florence, Alabama. Wildwood park is a diverse ecosystem that includes uplands, lowlands, and floodplains. Ants collected here came from a variety of habitats, such as leaf litter, hickory nuts, and logs.

Specimens were taken from a variety of habitats, such as forests, damp soil leaf litter, creek banks, homes, driveways, mounds, pastures, logs, roadsides, trees, hickory nuts, dandelions, etc.
